This year, Steps will be joining forces with TLN tv for 3 fantastic summer festivals: Salsa at Blue Mountain (Sat. June 27th), Salsa at Ontario Place (Sat. July 4th) and Salsa on St. Clair (Sat. ONTARIO SUMMER SALSA TOUR 2009…it’s gonna be hot!
The first stop on the sizzling Ontario Summer Salsa Tour is the inaugural Salsa at Blue Mountain. Plan your summer salsa adventure at one of Ontario’s top all-season resorts as The Village at Blue Mountain becomes a showcase of Ontario’s Latin cultures with a FREE family street party beginning at 3pm and ending with a fireworks display at 10pm. Come up for the day or book a hotel room by June 15-special salsa rates start at $64.50 pp a night. It’s the first ever Salsa at Blue Mountain Saturday June 27th – it’s gonna be hot!
Ontario Place goes salsa with the 2nd annual Salsa at Ontario Place. Take in the sounds of some of salsa’s hottest entertainment while enjoying all of the park’s rides and attractions, all with a Latino flair. Come take free lessons with Steps Dance Studio and watch kids’ performance showcases. Times are 12:45-1:15, 2:30-3:00 & 4:15-4:45pm.
The final stop on the Ontario Summer Salsa Tour is the 5th annual Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival. This FREE family street party celebrating Toronto’s Latin cultures transforms midtown Toronto between Winona Drive and Christie Avenue into a showcase of Latin life: pulsating music, passionate dancing, fiery foods, a Latin market, a children’s area and much more. Don’t miss this summer’s hottest street party!
Come visit the STEPS booth at Rushton & St. Clair for free lessons, prize giveaways, DJ and our outdoor dancefloor! STEPS will be teaching at the main stage on Saturday July 11th from 7pm-7:20pm and on Sunday July 12 from 3:30-3:45pm and from 6:40 to 7pm.

Never tried salsa before? Not sure if you will like it? Want to try a class before committing to an 8 week session? Want to try something different with your friends on a Friday night?
Try a FREE Introductory salsa class at Steps Dance Studio.
Once a month, on Friday evenings from 7pm-8pm. Everyone welcome! No partner necessary! No registration necessary, just show up!

Canada Salsa Congress, Oct. 8-12, 2009
The Canadian Salsa event of the year. This event is for everyone - all ages, all levels (from beginner to instructors), all dancers and spectators too! This 4 day Salsa festival takes place at the Sheraton Centre Hotel. First early bird ends July 1st!
