All levels and ages welcome.

Lesson from 5:00-6:00pm, Dancing from 6:00-9:00pm

$10 including 1 hour lesson or $5 after 6pm.

Dates:
Sun. July 13 ~ Special time! 8:00-11:00pm. Salsa on St. Clair after party. No lesson. Ladies’ Choreography Class performs.

Sun. August 11 ~ lesson: Reggaeton. Steps Dance Company performs.

Bachata Bootcamp - Int/Adv

Dates: Thursday July 3 - 24 from 9:00-10:00pm

Bachata is a seductive and flirtatious dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. Learn how to lead and follow fun Bachata turns as well as more intricate and sexy Bachata turn patterns. Learn how to incorporate the sensuous Bachata body movement needed to make this dance look effortless. This course will include different material than the last Bachata workshop taught in May.

Price: $70 for 4 weeks (or $20 drop-in)

20/20/20 Technique Class

20 minutes each of shines & styling, spinning drills and salsa technique with Jennifer and Clifton. Take your dancing to the next level with drills and technique that add flavour to your shines and partnerwork and make your dancing look more effortless. Suitable for intermediate and advanced level dancers and students.

Salsa ‘on 2′ Fundamentals

Have you seen or tried on 2 salsa (sometimes referred to as New York or Puerto Rican style salsa), either in a class setting or on the dancefloor? Gotten frustrated? Most people do!! But the benefits are worth the extra effort - be able to lead and follow anyone, anywhere, on any beat and learn a smooth and elegant style punctuated with fast, multiple spins. This course will show you how to incorporate what you already know from salsa on 1 to salsa on 2. You will learn how to switch your shines, spins and turn patterns from on 1 to on 2 and we will help you to understand the similarities and differences between dancing on 1 and dancing on 2. You will learn tools to improve your on 2 timing and coordination as well as tools to hear the beats and aceents more clearly. This workshop is geared to anyone who is comfortable dancing salsa on 1 (minimum Beginner 3). Good for those who want to learn on 2 for the first time as well as those with some on 2 experience who still have trouble staying on time on the dancefloor.
